My approach integrates body awareness, breathwork, and emotional presence. After years of pushing myself in unsustainable ways and developing tendonitis, I’ve come to see the importance of honoring the whole person in music-making. I help students listen to their bodies, build healthy habits, and create sound with ease—so they can play for life, not just for the next audition.

Each lesson is shaped by where the student is emotionally and energetically that day. I hold space for the ups and downs, helping students connect to their playing in a way that feels honest and empowering. Music can be a tool for processing, joy, and self-discovery, and I’m here to support that journey.

Creativity in my teaching shows up through tone exploration, phrasing, and emotional connection. I guide students to listen deeply—to the music and to themselves—so they can shape phrases with intention and bring their own voice to the instrument. It’s about finding freedom within the structure and learning how to communicate something real through sound.

No two students are the same—and I love that. I meet each person where they are, adapting my lessons to fit their needs, goals, and learning style. Whether it’s a beginner, middle schooler, or someone returning to music later in life, I create a space that feels accessible and welcoming.
